I really do not want to post this up but paypal has gone too far. I need to keep track of my thoughts so you guys can just skip this post as it is rather negative and really test my screwed up command of English.

Like seriously? They are restricting me due to my age? What is this? What paypal is implying to me is that I am 17 now so I have to wait like 9 more months before I can access the 80USD in my account and use my account fully. So what will happen to my current transactions? Am I suppose to disappear and let the negative feedbacks pile up? Point is, MY MONEY IS STUCK INSIDE THE BLODDY ACCOUNT!!!
The customer relationship officer at the other end of the phone was not only very unhelpful, she just added to my frustrations and irritated me more. If it was not for the fact that I was using my handphone to call them, I would have asked for a transfer to a higher up!!! BAHHHHH. And from the tone of her voice, I know that she finds this stupid as well. I guess the media is going to have a really interesting topic to write about if this email does not work.
Hi,
Firstly, your company stated that I do not meet the age requirement of 18 to be able to use Paypal. However, when your company suspended my account last year, I have provided your company with my ID card which already stated that I am not 18. Why is it that your company only took action and suspend my account when you could have done so last year? I have many transactions waiting for my approval and right now causing both my buyers and sellers so much problems. I think that it is really unreasonable for me to wait for about 9 more months before I am able to use your company's services as what is wrong with a 17 year old using Paypal? I have friends who are as old as 12 and are already using Paypal! Why don't your company go ahead and suspend their account then?
Secondly, I am already 18 this year! What difference does it make for me to wait a few more months in order to use Paypal? I think that your company's policy is extremely inflexible and it is really causing a lot of problems at my end.
Please do not simply apologize to me for any inconvenience caused as I think that I am in a very ridiculous situation whereby i am not allowed to use Paypal due to my age. So what does your company need from me? A parent's letter just like how all the primary schools need a parent's letter for approval?
With on-line shopping becoming extremely popular right now, your company is one of the frontiers of a cashless transaction service. You charge all kinds of transaction fees and give us so called 'premium' exchange rates and yet your company have a age restriction to use your services?
Are you implying to me that a 17 year old who will turn 18 in 9 months time and has been using Paypal for the past 2 year do not have the mental capacity to use Paypal correctly? Besides that, I currently have about 80USD in my account and I am suppose to wait until I tun 18 before I can give your company a call and get back that 80USD? This is just so ridiculous as not only can I not access and fully use my account, the 80USD that I own will be frozen together with my account.
This is an extremely unfair situation which I am in due to your company's extremely inflexible policies. Your company is discriminating and discouraging young entrepreneurs who are keen about starting a business in the future with such inflexible and unreasonable policies. Your company is doubting my capabilities and restricting my rights to deal with international waters.
Does waiting for another 9 months really make a difference? Will I be more mature and have more of a common sense to use Paypal correctly? Please consider these facts and I hope to hear from your company soon and that your company would have enough foresight to lift my account restrictions and spare me of my frustrations, inconveniences and annoyance.
Sincerely,
Jamie Chan
