CROSS ROAD~~~

Alrights guys. Heres the deal. I need help in deciding on where to move from here. Since my status on the TPB is a stalker, it would be really nice if one of you made a poll there to help me decide.

Firstly, it is time for me to make a decision in where do I want to move from here on. I stayed stagnant for quite some time and I really really want to move on>.> Photo wise.

I took a look at my 'idol' -sassystrawberry's blog and looked through her photos again. In the past, I always used her photos as a yardstick to where I want my standard of still life to be. I am pretty happy to say that all I need is a little more cash to settle the furniture/ background problem I am still facing as I can finally put my photo next to hers without the feeling of burning mine away.

Problems I am facing now would be that I would love to have a prime lens or specifically the 35mm or the 50mm to shoot as they are small, light, cute and F2. As compared to the 17-35mm which is F4 and the 24-70 which weighs a ton. The second problem would be my workflow. Mainly my colour management and photo touchups.

1) I should stop thinking and get the 35mm. Suffer and stay miserable for 2 months while praying I have a job till July.

2) Get a Macbook pro. Suffer and stay miserable for the next 2 years while starving myself.

3) Get the I Mac. Suffer and stay miserable till next year while living off charity bread.

4) Leave the doll hobby, get the 5-8k USD and get myself the lens and the computer.

5) Invest, stay miserable for the next 5 years and get the computer, the leica and anything else I want after that.

6) Take the damm money and give myself a holiday.

7) Do nothing.

I am hoping no one chooses 4 and 7. I really do not want to leave the doll hobby as I love dolls for still life. Right now, I am really keen on getting my work flow done up as compared to getting new gear as it is killing me. I did not have a really good work flow experience from my SYPA competition as I had to transfer my images around 3 computers before deciding on the colour and how to go about editing it. Spending 4 hours straight on 6 pictures is no joke at all as it burns you out really fast. And doing something is better than doing nothing at all so yup I want to move one step further so things have to change(:

Bless my soul and bank account.

*edit* if I do not make any sense here, please forgive me as I am half asleep right now with thoughts swarming through my head.
