I had my Japanese test today and it went pretty well(:
Well, If it did not go well, something must be very wrong with me. The point is that I did not even open my book till about six minutes before the test so I completely screwed the culture part of the test as I know nuts about the geography of Japan. Overall, I should be able to get at least a 40 out of 50 as I am extremely confident of the language part which holds 30 marks. Well if I get anything wrong for the language part, I can prepare a knife to stab myself as I should not make any mistakes there.
There was a photo talk for the Year 3s and the supposedly Year 2s students on the phrase one product -Capture One in my school today. I was not exactly keen on attending the talk as I am already using the Capture One LE and they are giving out the awesome fantastical trial version of Capture One 5 which would tempt me to save like crazy in order upgrade my LE...
So the story went like I bumped into M in the canteen and he was like its okay we can attend the talk even if we are late. In the beginning, I thought that there would at least be a few year 2s there as well as the other photo lecturer should have informed his own class about the talk so I didn't really mind joining them.
In the end, I was once again the only year 2 in class T____T You guys have no idea how it felt>.> Not only was I the only year 2 there, I was like 30 minutes late>.< But I came in when the fun part began so no harm done 8D
It was a really interesting talk as I got to view the awesome sensor of the Phrase One camera! It was really big and made my 5D's sensor look miniature as I guess it was almost three times the size. I played with the Phrase One 645 camera as well and it is much lighter than the Mamiya and makes a hell lot of noise when it takes a shot!
The speaker for the talk was a guy hailing from Denmark and he thanks Phrase one for everything.
"See how easy it is to do your color management? Thank you Phrase One!," "That is all you have to do! Simple! Thank you Phrase One!" You get the idea.
So when his Mac crashed, M just had to say " Thank you Phrase One!"

I showed him and a few Year 3s the images which I took last Saturday. I am having mixed feelings about them right now as I am trying to convince myself that I can't shoot nuts within one hour but the fact still stays that they are not good enough and my angle is my current major problem.
Ah wells. I am shooting again this Saturday! Hopefully with a thinking mind and a working body!
Field trip to some printing company tomorrow! How exciting.
