Yet another Friday~

Its Friday already! I spent almost every night of this entire week drinking with Yin<3 Which kind of explains why I am always like a zombie in the morning:3 Although the real reason should really stem back to the fact that I can't sleep>.>
Any remedies?

I showed my dad my recent photos yesterday and he told me that they were not bad O.o I was really really surprised. I still have a long way to go to get a good shot but its a good start:3
I semi-crashed M's class today and there was someone who took a portrait of me. When I looked at her photo of me, I shared with her and gave her some tips on how to make the photo look better which was something I do not do in the past>.> Looking back, I guess I was really arrogant and snobbish T_T *slaps self*

  

Ah wells. I will be shooting later and I am really tempted to just bring my 1 GB memory card to really force me to think before I shoot. Then again, I just threw two of my 8 GB  memory card into my bag:3 After much thought, I will be bringing the 70-200mm and the 24-70mm. I want to stick to the 35mm but since my dad says that if I don't bring the 70-200mm I will regret it for the rest of my life, I shall just stuff it in my bag>.> And guess what. He gave me a little 'tip' on how to shoot!

1) Don't get too close.
2) Don't touch them.

I was suppose to be a good girl and clear away all the photos that I do not need today(: But Jen decided to drag me out of the house and got me to watch a movie with her>.< Avatar was brilliant so I am not complaining(: This also left me with plenty of time before I met up with A to shoot at Chinatown(: Shot with the 24-70mm today! Though I constantly kept my focal length at 35mm. Chinatown was so crowded>.< We could hardly move from one end to the other!

Slaps self for this shot. I used the 70mm but why the hell did I cut off his head O.O I spent about an hour watching them play dumb and shot about 60 frames here and I do not have a single passable portrait... God I must be blind.

 After like 1 hour of shooting, it was dinner time(: Had the char quay tiao again! And they increased their price to 4SGD T_T Spare the poor some thought!!!

 I love this brand of peanuts!

In the end, we did not even see or hear a single firecracker or the PM... As after squeezing through the throngs of people, we decided to head on down to Clarke Quay. It was then when both of us realized that there was gonna be fireworks at clarke quay! The venue of the fireworks is at some grass patch next to riverside point. All the photographers armed with their tripods, super long lens and sky bounce flash, camped at the bridge for hours in order to get a good spot for the fireworks. Guess where the both of us went(: Well its basically some place where you can shoot the following photos and have the fireworks blown up right in front of your eyes without having to squeeze with people(: In fact, we were the only two photographers there and we were the closest and had the best view for the entire fireworks display!

 

I am not a fireworks person>.<

I just used my camera, point and shoot 8D

 

 

 

I am quite satisfied with my shots for today I guess. But its still not good enough T___T
