Weird good morning post 8D

Yessu people this is one of my morning post whereby my brain is suffering from a lack of sleep/ no sleep at all leading to a rush of adrenaline so that I can survive my presentation in about 2 hours time before sleeping.

In any case, life has been really busy as usual. Publications is not gonna be my favorite module of all times because its like applied illustration part two times ten. Alternative photography has been pretty interesting given that I managed to process my first roll of expired film 8D Yessu I did not even noticed the film was expired... Figures no? Thats just me happily receiving a box of film and loading it in my Mamiya without checking the expiry date. Thank god there are no expiry dates on CF cards.

So as photo majors, we get to enter 'The Dark Room.' I think those who had gone for cave expeditions or even to some parts of Malaysia on a moonless night would understand what 'dark' means. Its really dark. Like put your hand in front of you and you can't see it dark. It just encompasses you and swallows you up while you are trying to load your film in the reel with some 6 other screaming classmates in a 1m by 1m room.
I guess I am pretty much used to the darkness so thats a plus point to be able to stay calm(:

I just promised one of my friend that I would shoot for her band concert when I realized that it clashes with Matthew Tan's lighting seminar T_T My dad is not gonna be happy about this.
Thing is besides the fact that I would love to call my friend and tell her I predict I will have a fever on that day or find her a replacement photographer, I want the experience of shooting for a concert before next Friday whereby I will shoot the IFC's concert.
But Matthew Tan is pretty good at his lighting and the grand prize for the seminar is a chance to attend Joe McNally's workshop for FREE!!! 8D
So if I were to compare free work with seal points (they are like points you get for helping the school. Welcome to Singapore) and some packed food in styrofoam box to an awesome lighting seminar with a chance to attend McNally's workshop, I wonder which one I should choose T_T

Then again, I have a presentation in 2ish hours so lets bring my mind back to Earth...
To end of with a happy note, I just found a new topic to blog about so keep a lookout for it in a couple of days time.
