Happy Children's Day post.

1st of October.
Actually we are already an hour into the 2nd>.<

I never actually celebrated children's day. Well I was never a kid to begin with This year does not change anything. As I look at the kids with their parents all smiling and laughing, I really wonder how does it feel like to be happy because you are a kid.
I guess I will never find out.

I had a shoot with a few of my friends on Wednesday and I finally used the Mamiya 135. Although I just realized that you could lock the meter for that camera which kind of means that the exposure for some of my shot will go out of whack as I never locked it...

I bumped into Jai while I was shooting. I totally walked past the 'giant' poster of his face pasted against the wall. He caught me when I was thinking so it was pretty embarrassing as I was really flustered. Bumped into Y next and my god. He looks drop dead gorgeous in a suit 8D I never knew he could look that good. Like I guess the world would be a better place to look at if all guys wears suits out of their houses.
Then again, I guess there are exceptions....

I had been really drained from facing the computer. It is no joke doing retouching everyday from 12pm to 2am. A minor chat with my dad and I realized that he has not given up on the idea of having me run a studio. Sadly, I have no interest in doing studio works as with studio works, come really the really insane and heavy workload of retouching images. Like I am only handling two pretty minor projects and I am dying. Wait until I get five or more T_T
This kind of reminded me of the time where he wanted me to be an engineer. Failure.com
Sometimes I guess he sees me like a coloring book whereby he colors in his favorite colors. Am I thinking too much?

Documentary/ Travel/ Humanitarian photography will be the type of photography I will do in the future. Lets hope he gets rid of the studio idea soon.

Retouching images tomorrow morning, a shoot in the afternoon, shouting match with a dead seller in the evening. I need sleep and looking at kids images does not help one bit.
