A thousand and one nights

Its bloody early in the morning. 12.52am. Here I am half awake trying to process some 300+ image from today/ yesterday's shoot>.> So far, the editing process has been slow as I am so exhausted and I currently have a back log of 600+ images. All in two days work T_T

Capture One is taking its own sweet time to run and these are the times whereby I would like to have a 3GB per second e.Sata wire hooked up to my docking station.
At least the the file imported rather quickly as I manage to steal get myself a 16GB CF card with a speed of 64MB per second which runs so much faster than my 8GB CF card.

Geek talk aside, I am drained from covering YOG. I shall not blog too much about it but I now know that sports photography is not my cup of tea. I mean I would love dragging a big ass lens attached to a monopod everywhere I go but I shall stick to carrying miniature lenses.

I am partially sun-burnt as I covered the tennis matches today. This is the first time I attended a tennis match and I swear I will never play tennis as it is so dangerous>.> It was pretty exciting but the matches are so bloody long>.>

I even met Maye-E while I was shooting so guess who is happy today(: I seriously admire her strength for carrying such a giant lens>.>

Ah. Thank you phrase one for finally finishing the auto adjustment of all 3.97GB worth of images.

Ubin tomorrow at 7am, hell lot of images to shoot/ sort/ edit/ process/ resize/ post. I should sleep now.
Sorry for the random post>.>
If you are curious, YOG has been a mess. I am exhausted, sleepy and I should sleep now>.>
Nights people. Good morning people. Sweet dreams and take care.

Paint!!!

I finally started painting today and it was not as bad as I thought! At least I got the basic of mixing the colors so for now, I just got to work on my observation skills and techniques. I will survive>.>

Semi-lunched with M this afternoon and I showed him my recent works. Its not too good but I will get there soon>.< Its so frustrating T___T

I will be entering in the SYPA contest and for the junior category, the overall winner gets 3000SGD and some mentor-ship thing! I can see my Kira and Mihmi coming along<333
I need 6 shots and at least 4 themes out of the 8. So I guess I will be doing still life, portraits, children at play, abstract and maybe nature. I might be considering night scene and people at work but I am not really interested in buildings and architecture>.>
I will be re-shooting my still life pictures as I want something new! The recent still life shots I did for my school project with Cinde and Vicky were really boring, predictable and just boring. So I really hope that Alison and Cian will post Juliet and Kiyomi back to me soon!!! I miss them T___T
I kind of already have shots for children at play and abstract but I really want to improve my portrait shots>.< After all, portraits are suppose to be my strongest area but for now, it's like my worst. I am really interested in doing a shoot with window light as I am so inspired by Mark Cleghorn. Like why didn't I diffuse the stupid light to make my life easier when I shoot>.> *slaps self*
So are there any kind souls out there who wants to be my models? 8D
And after watching how Andy Rouse shoots, I really want to go back to the zoo T_T

Ah wells. I shall just focus on the thaipusam shoot this Saturday at 3am>.< Bless my soul.
