Probably around a few months back, I had this really interesting chat with S who is the same age as me.
S: Alice~~~ How do you look so old????
Me: O.O err.......
It turns out that her school requires her to be more 'mature' in her outlook and I am the perfect example for her to model on as I don't look my age T_T
So for yesterday, after I had dinner and had ice-cream with her by the river so romantic I asked her how does she intend to change her outlook. So she told me these few points:
1) Perm her hair. -Okay I really want to perm my hair as well!
2) Dye her hair black. -Well my hair is black>.>
3) Keep long hair. -Well I guess my hair is longer than average.
4) Stop wearing so much black shirts. *looks at my shirt* its cream and blue and I hardly ever turn up in black.
5) Stop wearing a digital watch. *looks at watch* Its analogue...
DIE. I am OLD/ mature/ wise T___________T

I finally caught Alice in Wonderland and I was pretty disappointed. With the exception of Johnny Depp, I felt that the entire movie was lacking. The Alice I know was a lot more tenacious and the Alice in the movie was just well. Soft. As she is always waiting for someone to recuse her. Putting that aside, the costumes and animations were lovely and this great classic of Lewis Carol really lives on!
Sometimes, 'off-line' shopping as compared to 'on-line' shopping is a really different experience. As I walked into the National Geographic store today, I saw two photo books which I really really really liked and they are priced at 35SGD each. So it will be 70SGD if I were to get both. Point is, I held on to my wallet even though I took the two books and almost paid for them T__T
However, if I saw these two books on-line, there would be a really high chance of me getting it as it is ONLY 50USD... Which really sort of woke me up. As my girl's dress cost say around 100USD but I don't feel the pain as it is ONLY 100USD... But when I convert it back to SGD of 140SGD, I really feel the horror>.>
Even if we do not talk about the awesome dresses my girls have but about the Volks Pearl's wig which just arrived. I spent 38USD on that damm piece of fiber which is 53.2SGD... God I must be crazy in those days whereby I had the money>.> Life of the poor... God bless my bank account and give me the tenacity to resist buying things on-line>.> I rest my case.
On a lighter note, I finally met the legendary elusive Cecelia today and she was not bad! Probably even better than Yuki! Or maybe I was too sleepy to notice anything>.> Ah wells(:
