It was a pretty fulfilling day today:3
I got back my Japanese test today and scored 54/60. Yessu I was the highest scorer of 90% 8D
I did not get full marks as I screwed the culture part of the test which test us on stuff like the geography of Japan!
The role play for this Wednesday seems to be coming along pretty well although I seem to have a tendency of improvising as I can't remember the script 8D Problems with me improvising comes with the fact that my team mates do not understand me and they will be staring awkwardly at me T___T
I spoke to M about my images today and I have once again gone up another stage in my photos. I should be happy about it but I know that my shots can be better. As I mentioned, going close is no longer a problem. My next challenge would be intimacy. To feel the 'rawness' of every image and to get emotions stirred up. Now that is one of the hardest part.
The shoot this time round might be pretty easy in a way that I probably spent so much time in Chinatown that I know what to look out for. However, I shot everything on the 35mm this time round which is something really different from the 100mm. I guess my dad would probably have loads to say about my images this time round as I am sort of drifting further and further away from his definition of a 'good' image(:
It is so hard and I struggle and gave up so much to be where I am right now.
Once again, I can't help but feel really grateful to M for taking time off to go through my images and to shoot with me!
Well either way, I made a crazy decision to go into documentary work so I just have to keep pushing myself!!!
I will get there!!! Yessu!
On a side note, I will not be presenting on Wednesday 8D Thank the stars! Now I do not have to choose my 20 images<333
But I hope that I could at least show my work to the year 3s as it is pretty unfair that I get to view theirs but they do not get to see mine:3 Ah wells. We shall see.
In the meantime I really want my next
Either that or now that a conductor I know of is in Singapore, I might even be working with his choir if everything goes well 8D
And come August, I am involved in the YOG as a 'young' photographer as I
Wish me luck!!!
To end off, I can't believe that I have finally 'upgraded' to the 'adult' version of the POSB bank book! I had the yellow one from 1999 and eleven years later, I finally own the blue one 8D I would probably miss the hamster looking bear on the yellow book but its life(: You move on.
