MIndless race

I think you guys know how much I love Fridays 8D Then again, today is a really special Friday as I was so exhausted that I did not go out in the evening>.>

Started off my morning by getting up at 5.50am only to realized that I fell asleep again and panicked at 6.30am. Thank the stars I live 26 minutes away from Chinatown. I was trying to be at least 10 minutes earlier than M so that I could get some time to straighten out my thoughts as I am never a morning person. In the end, I arrived on time but rather flustered>.> Started shooting after breakfast and for the first time in a long while, I had a clear and working mind 8D
I picked up a few things here and there such as being more observant and that generic shots such as poses of people can make really interesting shots and that the Leica M9 is freaking awesome with its fabulous contrast and color. I guess I was a lot more confident than I was before and surprisingly, going closer was no longer my biggest problem! Instead, I had lots of problems with my angle and background distractions but I did my best and I guess my shots were pretty decent for now.

After the three plus minus hour shoot, I went back to school for CCN day. I had absolutely no intention of 'celebrating' this day which is my school's 20th anniversary. However, fate allowed me meet Kite in the canteen the day before CCN and I agreed to help her in selling some stuff for CCN. We sold jades. Genuine jades! They were really cheap but I had no budget so oh wells(: It was really interesting working with one of my lecturers as he have this really fluffy and fuku fuku aura around him. He goes 'beautiful' at almost everything he sees and it was really fun watching him work! He even treated us to free cakes as we managed to raise quite a bit of money!

He mentioned that I was a 'very good' sales person but the thing is, I doubt I did anything significant at all besides standing there smiling. I probably have a bit of sales experience/ background stemming from my many previous sales jobs. I enjoy the interaction a sales job brings but I do not enjoy entertaining people who speaks Chinese>.> Yessu. I am counting down to the day whereby I am officially jobless so just let me bask in glory for the moment(:

I learnt a lot about jades today and I should probably find one soon as I am very accident prone>.< Jades are really interesting and I have a better understanding on why my lecturers are so obsessed fond of jades. We raised a total of 2030SGD which is quite a bit as compared to the previous year and the stalls beside us.

All in all, it has been a really exhausting day well spent and I am looking forward to the presentation on Wednesday<3 Partially>.<
