Busybusybusybusy. Doing nothing.

It should seriously be illegal to be this busy doing nothing >.> I am waaaaayyyy behind schedule and I have not started on still life *stabs self* On the other hand, my nature shots are looking pretty decent and I might even be submitting two nature shots!

Went down to the bird park on Monday and it rained... I stared at the pelicans for two and a half hours literately. But my shots were much much better than the once I took in the zoo so yessu I am happy with them(: My best shots from the park came from the great barn owl 8D As much as I would love to post that up now, I shall wait till I submit that shot before you guys get to see it(:
I had a chance of using a tripod and it is so troublesome>.> Although my shots of that stupid bird who kept on turning its head great barn owl were pretty good for my own standards, I feel that I could have done more composition wise as the tripod was so difficult to use that I missed so many shots T___T Other than the lovely weather, it was a Monday well spent(:

This poor bird only had one eye :( So I composed it in a way that it is not so gruesome>.<

I swear I really wanted to start on still life this afternoon! I even left early from the tea session with F and T! 

I kidnapped two of my friend's girls and one of them is a Soom Topaz 8D I could stare at her all day long as she is so pretty! BUT, I died styling her>.> Since there is a whole lot of eye putty in her, I decided not to remove her gorgeous topaz coloured eyes. So I sticked with her default styling. I died. That stupid lovely green dress was a pain in the butt so interesting to style. Shall post up more pictures in the morning~

 See those lovely flowers on the dress? It took me 3 hours and a hell lot of pain just to pin those bloody things on. I could not get the volume and colour combination right so I had to pin and un-pin and pin them back again>.> However, I am still not happy with the position of the flowers but it should do for now>.> Nightmare. I officially declare that a Topaz dress is no longer on my wish list>.>  This dress is probably the hardest dress I ever styled and the most expensive doll I ever handled. I think a Topaz is worth around 3-4K USD in the market right now! She is really really pretty and I can't wait to start shooting! I also kidnapped Soom's Amber dress so I guess Kiyomi can wear that while Juliet will don on her Cass's dress and it should be pretty interesting to shoot the three SD16s 8D

Recently, someone on the forum asked 'What is a good photograph' There were many varied answers!

1) "a good photo is a photo that you like it yourself.

as simple as that.

So what if all the lighting / angle / etc. is correct but no one like it'

Ignoring the terrible usage of Singlish, I feel that this is a really good question and these are some really interesting answers. If I recall, M asked me a similar question before and I think I said something dumb like lights?
He told me that a good photo is like listening to good music and it really makes you go 'wow' or something along that lines >.> god bless my memory I am only 18>.< I think I finally kind of understood what he meant back then 8D took me long enough

A good photo is just like listening to good music because you feel good about it and when you go 'wow,' you will just keep thinking about it! The thought of that photo will keep on bugging you and that image that is stuck in your head might even compel you to do something! Chiri's picture which came in 2nd during the TDA contest was because of a bugging image shot by M 8D
So if your gut feeling goes wow when you first look at a photo, I think that it is a good image 8D
