Hello Chan Jamie,
PayPal is required by law to comply with the Monetary Authority of
Singapore's Notice to Holders of Stored Value Facilities on the Prevention
of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism
regulations to collect identification documents from customers when they
receive/send more than a set limit. We are sending you this notice because
your PayPal account has exceeded this set limit in total transactions.
Please log into your account, go to Resolutions Centre page, and follow the
instructions there about how to provide the required information. The
required information is as follows:
I currently have three on-going transaction and they happily decided to freeze the account of this 18 year old because they suspect that I am involved in financing terrorism. Like HAI! I will not start in the fact that they charge all kinds of stupid fees to make my life miserable and that their exchange rate is like rubbish. The point is, this is the 2nd time they suspended my account. OVER THE SAME FUCKING REASON.
The best part is that they want two statements from me to proof my address and the back of the IC is not accepted. Like I am only 18. How many statements do you need???? And they already collected all kind of stupid information the last time this happened so now they are collecting the same rubbish information AGAIN!!! They took 8 days to resolve the last suspension which caused my sellers and buyers so much problem so I am going to have to survive on tap water for the next 8 days as I can't get my funds out. Screw paypal. I swear I will be switching to western union if this happens a 3rd time.
*Throws stones at them*
