Moodless~

Alrights. I went through my photos for both day and I can't find a single solid photo that fits the bill of people at work ~.~ Ah wells. There are good and bad days. Those two days just seemed to be terrible. I felt that every one of those shots were really boring, short of the standard I have of myself and a giant waste of space in my hard disc. In fact, it kind of felt like my old photos just that the exposures are much better>.> Clearing up the background is a major problem for me as I tend to magically ignore the background and viola there is a pole sticking out in my background. Then comes the entire mood of the picture which failed so badly as there was hardly any relations/ stories in my images and I just could not capture it well. Its like I was there experiencing the new year atmosphere but it did not turn up in my images>.> *slaps self*

Ah wells. The good news is, since I might already have photos for nature, children at play and possibly portrait, I just need three more shots! Which would most probably consist of still life, people at work and abstract. I have 1 month and 2 weeks. Yayness.
But! I have to do a little bit of DI for my portrait which includes cropping. *stabs self*

Yes I cropped to the wrong ratio so I will have to redo this again...

I basically cropped, burned the background and whitened the eyes. I am so tempted to adjust the catch light as well which will probably make the whole image look really edited>.> Ah wells.

So I have another week to shoot at Chinatown before I move on to still life which is going to eat up my time as I intend to start everything from scratch and do a super awesome sassystrawberry standard shoot. Which means, I have to hunt for backgrounds lights and find the perfect styling for my girls.  So, I must have my competition shot for 'people at work' by this week!!! M-U-S-T!!!!

Work was quite lovely today as one of the regulars came and told me that she actually came on a Saturday but she enjoys my 'service/ styling/ nonsense/ fantastic jokes' so much that she specially came back when I was working to buy stuff from me! *touched*

Lets pray for a better week ahead filled with fabulous images:3 I can do it!

That picture is not good enough:( If only she used her left hand then it would be a passable picture~.~ But I just found it really cute for a young Malay girl to be interacting with a old Chinese man which is why I posted it up. In fact, I got quite a couple of failed shots for this scene(:
